The Abyss lasts for around 45 minutes but this, of course, will vary depending on the skill of the player.

It’s now up to you to survive the daunting night ahead of you by making short work of any foes that stand in your path while simultaneously making sure that you’re not caught off guard by the many secrets that this strange forest holds. After crashing, you look around for any signs of life but quickly realize that the only way you’ll escape this place is by fighting for your survival. In The Abyss, you’ll get to take on the role of a soldier who was sent on a secret mission but, unfortunately, your helicopter ended up crashing in the woods. This is one of the most masterfully crafted horror maps that we’ve played in recent times so we absolutely recommend giving it a shot if you’re on the lookout for a top tier horror map that can get you hooked from the moment you start playing it. Although most other Minecraft map categories have seen a variety of improvements over the years, horror maps haven’t really advanced in the same way but, fortunately, it seems that The Abyss is here to change this.

The Abyss is a truly engrossing Minecraft horror map that definitely isn’t the faint of heart as it definitely has moments during which it’s absolutely terrifying.
